Torpor is very dangerous and if it happens you need to react quickly. Torpor is a state that looks like hibernation because the hamster is unconscious but it is not hibernation because hamsters don't actually hibernate. When it is too cold for them or they don't have enough food they get can into torpor and can die from it. If the room was not cold or if the hamster had enough food then it is not torpor and something else is wrong so you need to take them to the vet.
